Utilizing ceramic—the most optimal material—we have completed an ideal back-loaded horn speaker that was impossible to express with traditional wooden enclosures. Within its innovative form, a sound path exceeding 2 meters has been constructed, realizing rich bass and astonishing high-fidelity sound.

OPTIMISTA muse

The woofer driver features a “metal cone” diaphragm that achieves high vibration plate strength. The ceramic enclosure, with its high rigidity, supports the vibrational energy of the high-mass metal cone. Additionally, the magnetic circuit has been specially reinforced to adequately drive the metal cone without succumbing to the increased sound pressure within the enclosure due to its high rigidity. This allows for dynamic release of the intense bass instrument energy inherent in live sound throughout the listening room.

The tweeter employs a “ribbon-type” design that excels in transient response. The delicate high frequencies, free from distortion, are combined with the high-density energy and crisp response unique to ceramic enclosures, reproducing music with stunning realism.

To achieve high-level harmony between the ceramic enclosure, metal cone woofer, and ribbon tweeter, the dividing network adopts an ultra-simple “-6dB/oct” circuit. The network’s crucial coil uses extra-thick 2.0mm wire. This allows power from the amplifier to be supplied more directly to the driver units without compromising signal fidelity. You’ll likely feel the rich, colorful atmosphere of the live performance venue.
